Easton Wildcats 2008 Football Teams
Please check back for updates.
![]() There is no sport quite like football! Children of all ages get a chance to develop a love for the sport. For the youngest players, this is the first year where they are able to "put on the pads". They learn to tackle, block and run plays that you wouldn't believe possible when they first start practicing in August. Even though there is no post-season, the players all enjoy the first steps taken into tackle football. For the older players, football season means a chance to see old friends, learn more about football and to take a shot at winning a league or state championship! Both parents and players alike are always surprised as to how well they stack up against our division rivals. Players range in age from 7-15 and both boys and girls are encouraged to participate. Practice begins August 1st, up to 5 nights a week (and/or possibly Saturday), until the first game which will be on Labor Day. Upon the start of school, practice drops down to 3 nights a week with a game every Sunday. The season is 8 games long with playoffs immediately afterwards for all teams except the Mitey Mites. The age/weight breakdown is as follows:
This years teams are continuing the Wildcats tradition of having fun, learning the values of teamwork and good sportsmanship. Along with fun, the Easton Wildcats have put together competitive, winning teams at all levels. Thanks to all of the parents, players and coaches who make it possible. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
